At least 10 people were shot and two killed on Friday in what police called a “chaotic” night of violence in Virginia Beach with “multiple crime scenes.”

According to Virginia Beach Police Chief Paul Neudigate, officers on patrol responded to calls about an initial shooting near 20th street and Atlantic Avenue. Man accused of slashing 40 tires in Daytona Beach arrested

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – A day after releasing surveillance video showing a man slashing vehicle tires at a motel in Daytona Beach Shores, police said they have identified the man in the video and he is in custody.

Det. Sgt. Jessica Long, with the Daytona Beach Shores Police Department, confirmed that the suspect, Thomas Richards, was identified and arrested Thursday afternoon. Richards is accused of targeting around 40 vehicles at seven area hotels and a beach parking lot overnight into Wednesday morning.

Miami Beach mayor on spring break state of emergency: ‘We can’t allow disorder ‘

Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber explained on Tuesday that the city declared a state of emergency to try to get the horde of spring breakers who have flooded the area under control because “we can’t allow disorder.”

Miami Beach police arrest more than 50 people during spring breaker raucous

The Miami Beach Police Department says it arrested more than 50 people and seized at least eight firearms after a rowdy weekend of spring breakers defying a curfew. 

The raucous weekend reached its peak on Saturday night when local authorities called in a SWAT team to contain the defiant crowds.

The numbers provided to Fox News came after city officials voted to extend an 8 p.m. curfew for at least through mid-April along famed South Beach.
