Book Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows
Situated on five acres on the bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Santa Monica, the Fairmont Miramar is celebrating its centennial anniversary in 2021. It was originally the private estate of the founder of Santa Monica, Senator John P. Jones.
With a lush environment and views in every direction, this property is ideal for travelers who want a beach getaway coupled with the delights of a city. We’ve been numerous times and discover something new to love with each stay.
Here, beach butlers get visitors set up on the beach and can arrange cocktails or lunch, in addition to paddleboards, boogie boards, and bikes. Or, guests can just splash around with the expansive pool, or wander the gardens.
The hotel offers 280 spacious rooms, some with Pacific Ocean views, and 31 individually designed bungalows. Expect ample luxury with Keurig coffee makers, a stocked mini-bar, and a generously sized bathroom with marble, plush bathrobes, and Le Labo bath amenities.
The destination eatery FIG Restaurant offers ultra-seasonal and locally sourced farm-to-table fare and now also has an Airstream serving beach cuisine out of a retrofitted classic 1986 trailer located adjacent to celebrity-favorite club and lounge, The Bungalow. And Georgina’s is a new oceanfront bar, set for a September 2021 opening.
