Ozon has launched a new hotel booking service. You can choose a residence option from 70 thousand offers within the country and in the countries available for visiting.

Now Ozon Travel offers are aggregated from online booking sites, in the future hotels will have access to a special personal account, to which they will be able to connect directly and post their offers, independently manage prices.

The cost of a hotel on the Ozon hotel booking service is absolutely market – it is not higher than the offers on aggregator sites. However, those who book hotels through Ozon Travel have an advantage: up to 99% of the cost of booking can be paid with Ozon points. Also, now all customers receive cashback of 7% of the amount of the first booking – it is credited immediately after payment.

Mikhail Osin, CEO of Ozon Travel:

“More than 3.5 million customers use the Ozon Travel service every month, we see a high demand for air and railway tickets. Now we also have hotels. In the first days of testing the service on a limited sample of users, about 100 bookings were already made daily – this clearly confirms the demand for the service. The appearance of a marketplace for hotels, which we will launch in the near future, will give hotel market players even more opportunities to reach a new audience for them. This is relevant both for hotels in large cities that have lost the influx of foreign tourists, and for hotels in small settlements that need to increase their awareness among the country’s multi-million population.”

In the near future, the service will have a rating of hotels, customer reviews and the possibility of booking a room without prepayment and a bank card. Another advantage of the Ozon Travel hotel booking service is the ability to pay for accommodation with a Russian bank card from anywhere in the world.
