Mandatory hotel quarantine for UK residents and nationals arriving from countries on the “red list” will come into effect on 15 February – more than two weeks after the move was first announced by the prime minister.

Under the policy, people returning from more than 30 high-risk nations will have to quarantine for 10 days in government-approved accommodation.

Countries on the list include all of South America, southern Africa, Portugal and the United Arab Emirates – countries from where non-residents and nationals are already banned from entering the UK.

Russia Resumes Visa, Air Travel For All Indian Citizens

International Flight News: Russia on Saturday announced it will resume issuing visas for all categories of Indians who are planning to visit the country by air, as well as to those possessing a residence permit. As a result, international flights between New Delhi and Moscow will resume.

“In this regard, issuing of visas of all categories (including student visa) to enter Russia via air checkpoints is resumed for the Indian citizens, as well as for persons who have a residence permit,” the Russian Embassy in New Delhi said in a statement.
